Center for Detention Studies (CDS)

is a nonprofit organization established on February 19, 2009 in Jakarta. CDS was founded by human rights activists and academics who are concerned with penal reform in Indonesia. Through its programs and activities, CDS always strives to improve performance in Correctional Institutions in order to provide protection, respect and fulfillment of the rights of people who are being deprived of their liberty.
